During his visit to Father Ivo and Mpokolo wa Muoyo in July-August 2018, Jan Steenhouwer collected a lot of film and photo material. With this he compiled interesting reports, which were shown, among other things, during a film evening in Buizingen.

With adapted versions of his films, Jan also arranged several screenings in a number of Halle schools. The Holy Heart & College of Halle, for example, coupled this with a fundraiser for Mpokolo wa Muoyo. The many children, moved by the screening and the conversation afterwards, exerted themselves afterwards to take a sponsor walk and thus “collect pennies” for the shelter’s new all-terrain vehicle. The proceeds, beyond any expectation, amounted to €4,684.68.
